Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Laielli Holdings, LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use in60 News.

Effective September 8, 2026

Information you provide

If you create an account, we receive your email address, account identifier, and authentication status. Community features may include a public username, comments, replies, likes, reports, and blocked-user selections. Messages sent to support contain the information you choose to provide.

Preferences and activity

We process selected topics and publishers, bookmarks, hidden stories, theme and notification preferences, and limited reading interactions used to personalize your experience. Some preferences may be stored locally on your device and synchronized to your account. News articles are delivered from our servers and are not maintained as a permanent article archive on your device by in60.

Device and operational information

Our infrastructure and software providers may process limited technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, timestamps, diagnostic events, security signals, and push-notification tokens. We use this information to deliver the service, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and measure reliability.

How we use information

  • Provide, personalize, and synchronize the app.
  • Authenticate accounts and send account-related messages.
  • Deliver requested notifications and saved preferences.
  • Operate comments, likes, reports, blocking, and moderation.
  • Generate requested plain-language explanations and improve service reliability.
  • Protect readers, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

AI features

When you request ELI5, relevant story facts and instructions may be processed by OpenAI to generate a simpler explanation. We do not intentionally send your password or private account credentials to OpenAI for this feature. Generated text may contain mistakes; consult the cited reporting for complete context.

Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to operate in60, including Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, databases, hosting, and infrastructure; OpenAI for AI-assisted text processing; and platform providers such as Apple, Google, and Expo for app distribution, device functionality, and notifications. These providers process information under their own terms and our service arrangements. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or rights, in connection with a corporate transaction, or with your direction.

Publisher links

Opening a publisher’s website or another third-party link takes you outside in60. That organization’s privacy practices apply to activity on its service.

Data sales and advertising

in60 does not sell your personal information. The current service does not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising. If these practices change, this policy and the app’s privacy disclosures will be updated before the change applies.

Retention

We keep information while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. Retention periods vary by record type. When you delete your account, associated account data is deleted as described on our account-deletion page, subject to limited security, legal, and abuse-prevention exceptions.

Your choices

You can update topics, publishers, bookmarks, notifications, and other preferences in the app. You can delete your own comments, block users, disable device notifications, or delete your account. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions, contact us using the address below.

Children

in60 is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to support@in60news.com. in60 News is operated by Laielli Holdings, LLC in Florida, United States.
